(1) put up a netは網（ネット）を張る around～～の周囲に 農民たちは田んぼの周囲に網を張って囲んでやる必要がある。 (２）これでだいたいOKです。ただ、ここでduckとは合鴨のことかと。 有機栽培で農薬を使わず、合鴨を使って米作りをする状況の 文ではありませんか？ 彼らは夜、合鴨を保護するために小屋も建ててやらねばならない。 （３）最後に、稲穂が出てくる直前に、農民たちは田んぼから合鴨を出 す必要がある。 the ears of rice earsは米の穂やトウモロコシの実などを表現するために使われています。よって稲穂とここでは訳されるのがよいと思われます。 でもよく意味はとれていると思いますよ。内容理解にはそれほど 支障はありません。あとは文脈でどのような日本語を用いるか、日本語の語彙を増やされる努力をしてみて下さい。（小説などを読んで、その際、言葉の使い方を意識するようにするとか、新聞などもじっくり読んでみて下さい。）

However, a careless use of a cell phone often brings about serious problems. Recently, many children have been involved in crimes by use of a cell phone. They are sometimes killed by people with whome they became acquainted in an Internet community site. Children have a poor knowledge to protect themselves. When we think about whether children can use communication tools appropriately or not, we will believe that they cannot do. So I want to emphasize that parents should not have their children carry a cell phone.

This is because they don't own or rent a residence and thus have no address. No company will employ those people. To solve this problem, the gorvernment should support them. But,you may say that they should stand on their two feet. However,their low-paid temporary jobs make it impossible for them to save up money by themselves to rent an apartment.
