Thus doubling the width of a two-lane road more than doubles its capacity, the so-called 'shoulder effect'. 上記の一文にある more than がどういう位置づけなのかがよく分かりません。 「２レーンの道路の幅を２倍にする」ことと、「道路の容量を２倍にする」ことの、 一方が、もう一方よりも大きいということだと思うのですが・・・。 ご指導いただけると助かります。よろしくお願いします。
