この文はおかしいと思うのですが。 there was a danger of our hope fading. 私が一番お伺いしたことは、文法や構造のことより、この意味についてです。 どうしてもこの意味に違和感を覚えてしまいます。 「危険が存在した、我々の希望が消えかけているという。」 希望が消えかけていたら、それは危険があったではなく、そういう危険の状態にあったじゃないでしょうか？ つまり we were in danger of our hope fadingの方が適切なのではないでしょうか？ 危険があるという表現だったら、（これから）希望が消えてしまう危険があったというならわかります。 becomingだったら、もうその状態が進行してしまっていることを示していると思うので。 うまく説明できなくて申し訳ありませんが、どなたか教えてください。

I bought the bag at that store. どちらの文が自然なのでしょうか？ (3) There is a bottle of water in the refrigerator. とは言っても There is a bottle of water in my refrigerator. とは言わないのではないでしょうか？ 英作文をする時によく悩んでしまいます。どういう状況には定冠詞、どういう状況には所有格、といった使い分けがあるのでしょうか？

(1)～(3)で適切な文はありますか？ 自分なりに、(1)は大丈夫だと思うのです。(3)は、今は別のところに居るからダメなのかなと… (2)がいいのか悪いのか分かりません。 上記の文でダメな理由を教えていただけないでしょうか？ Ｑ２：I've been in Canada for a week.
