私の対訳(野暮ったいことを認めます): When she went to make the beds for waiting couples, 控えのペアに床をとる、 Or brought them warm water at daybreak, It would happen at times that a kind guest Would slip her a coin for formality's sake. When this happened she would silently thank him ことば少なに礼をする With her humble and lean smile, And think of the ship that braved the gales With eight cannons and seventeen sails.

Poor Lovise

Then one day, a lord saw her in the fire's light, And her virginal breasts that were coated with soot, He thought her worth a silver thaler for the night, But she shook her head and remained mute. She was the daughter of poor folk, an orphan, But she longed to be a shrub in a meadow That is caressed by a soft summer's wind's blow.

My husband and I went to visit our oldest son and his wife. They have three children, ages 6, 9 and 11. The youngest girl screams at the top of her lungs when she does not get her way. She also hits her mother when her mother tries to correct her. The oldest child baits the others to stir up trouble.

1The ship set sail from Bristol Habor. 2Fro many days things went smoothly. 3He climded into barrel to get himself an apple. 4Hidden from sight,he heard Long Jhon and pirates plotting to take over the ship.

  • The authorities

I’m really worried about my friend “Laura.” Laura grew up in a conservative community and married at 18. Her husband was a family friend, and she didn’t date anybody but him. After their marriage, she went to college, had two kids, and has now divorced her husband. She has broken away from her family because she says they judge her and she is intent on living her own life. I’d be good with that if it weren’t for the fact that she thinks living her own life is doing whatever she wants regardless of the consequences. Laura goes out to bars three to four nights a week. She would leave her kids (both under age 10) home alone. The authorities were called numerous times, and now her ex-husband has custody.

  • The Perfect Woman

英詩(原文) ~ The Perfect Woman ~ Her eyes like an angel looking down at me with a smile so heavenly just want her with me. Although sometimes its hard to look and see which girl will eventually be the one for me but this time there will be no mistake because she's everything I've looked for to this day so when I ask to marry her what will she say well I guess I'll know when I find a woman that will stay. この詩の中で、二行目 just want her with me の訳し方 と最後の行 I find a woman that will stay のTHAT は何を指し示しているのでしょうか?

NO ONE'S SON

In frozen fields I wrestled with the wind, With no more than a fig leaf as my clothes. Nothing is cleaner to me than dark of night, And nothing darker than bright high noon.

Millie has a daughter and a son, but they live on the opposite side of the country and aren’t able to visit now. Her daughter is 4, and when I saw her over the summer, she briefly referred to me as auntie. Millie pulled her daughter to the side and told her that I was not her auntie and that I was to be referred to by my first name. I was to be referred to by my first nameの訳をよろしくお願いします

(31) When Octavian's messengers broke into the tomb, they found Cleopatra and one of her handmaidens already dead. The other servant was dying─like her mistress, poisoned by the asp. Octavian was angry to have lost his prize, but he admired the queen's courage and determination. (32) Plutarch writes that Octavian commanded that she be “buried with royal splendor and magnificence, and her body laid beside Antony's.” He then gave orders for Caesarion's execution. For Octavian, the great Julius Caesar could have only one heir─himself. (33) What gave Cleopatra such power? She wasn't the most beautiful woman the world has ever known, but she must have been fascinating Poets and historians, both Greek and Roman, described her as a goddess. Her fame continues. Countless plays, operas, and movies have been produced about her. William Shakespeare's play Antony and Cleopatra is still performed today all over the world. Cleopatra's dramatic death has been the subject of dozens of paintings. Yet no one knows what she really felt about her Roman loves. Did she truly care about Caesar or was he just a tool of her ambition? Did she fall in love with the handsome Mark Antony or did she use him in a desperate attempt to save the throne of Egypt? (34) These mysteries surround the Cleopatra of history. We may never know the answers.

Maybe she panicked when she saw the barries were down on the other side. She dropped her bicycle and spilled all the groceries in her basket. People on both sides were calling to her, telling her to run because a train was coming, but she just stood there. Then suddenly a brave young man jumped over the barrier on the other side, ran to the woman, put her on his shoulder and carried her to safety. The train came in on the track closest to me, so she wouldn't have been injured, but still it was a scary moment. When the barriers came up again, some other people picked up the woman's bicycle and groceries for her.If the railway company doesn't make that crossing safer, it's only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured there.
