訳し方は複数可能です。 ２Ａ：ON top of the world.Couldn't be better. 有頂天だよ。これ以上ないって感じ。 もちろん「最高」でも良いですけれど。 It couldn't be better. それより良くできることは無い。 It couldn't be sweeter.とも言います。 それより嬉しくできることは無い。 How is it in Hawaii? Couldn't be better! 米語ですが、以下のようなフレーズがあります。 It doesn't get any better than this. これ以上良くなることはありえない＝最高だっちゅうの！ ＞３Ａ：It is,isn't it? 付加疑問文。でも、殆ど口癖です。何でもつけちゃう人もいます。くどくて、ノータリンに聞こえるので連発はやめるべきです。 Yes, it is, isn't it. （イギリスでは発音がイニットになりがち）

今中学英語からやり直してるのですが、参考書の中でいきなり Isn't it winter there ? という疑問文が出てきました。 そこは冬ではないのですか？ になると思うのですが、今まで勉強してきたbe動詞の疑問文ですと、 Is it a pencil？などでした。 この形の疑問文の解説が参考書になかったので、確認してもらいたいのですが、他に応用すると例えば、 Isn't this book ? これは本ではないのですか？ で合っていますか？ 「～ですか？」ではなく「～ないのですか？」 なので、Isの後にnotが入ると覚えて良いですか？ 初歩的な質問ですみませんが、よろしくお願いします。

下の英文はある海外ドラマの会話です。 全体を通して意味はなんとなくですが分かります。 でも日本語に訳してみようとするとうまく出来ません。 どなたか教えて下さい。 ちなみに、A＝男性、B＝女性で、最後の文章は切れています。 A:Are you just making harder to make this easier on yourself? B:Can we stop with the brainteasers? I just wish it was over. Done. A:You want me out of your face? B:Isn't it even a little hard for you? A:How can you ask me that? Just "cause" I'm not acting like a brat doesn't mean I don't feel anything. B:Nice to know what you think of me. A:What do you expect me to say when you just attack? B:I just can't do this anymore! こんにちは イギリスから来たんですか？ ＞How is it in Hawaii? ＞Couldn't be better! このようにも使えるんですね 付加疑問は口癖ですか・・・ 私、目にはよくしたり、実際耳にしますが、肯定の否定で結局どっち？何？って思ってました。 だから自分から話す時に会話で使ったことないです。 所謂、これですこれ チョコレートきらい？ チョコレート嫌いじゃない？ こういう時の答えかたのようです。 普通にチョコ好き？って聞いてくれれば問題ないんですが (；´д｀)トホホ 回答ありがとうございました
