元の英文が少しブロークンですが、恐らく、 You will be amazed (that) a little saving (has) turned to become a lot (of money). だと思われます。 「少額の貯金が大金に化けたことに驚くよ。」

文法的に少々難有りの文章ですが、その意味するところは、 《素寒貧の貯金が劇的に増えてびっくりするよ》 といった塩梅でしょうか。
