質問の中に答えがそのまんま描いてるんですが・・・ マオリ語の言語回復運動のために、あちらこちらにspeaker commuinitiesを作って、マオリ語を話す人の数を増やして、いっぱい使って、マオリ語がなくならないように保存していこうという活動のようです 言語は話す人がいないと死んでしまいます いったん「ゼロ」になってしまうと、もとと同じ状態に戻すのは不可能と言っていいです 意味を伝達する手段としては復活できるかもしれませんが、"文化"を伝えることはまず無理でしょう その文化を知っている人がいなくなってしまうからです できれば"ネイティヴ"の数を増やしたいのだと思いますが、それは、子供や孫の時代まで時間が必要なのでとても時間がかかる活動です 言語には必ず文化が反映されます 特にvocabularyやpharaseには文化が表面的に出てきますし、言葉を使う習慣(目に見えないpragmaticsに関する部分)も引き継がれることになります たぶん外部の人も大歓迎だと思います

回答ありがとうございます。 >あちらこちらにspeaker commuinitiesを作って workplace やhomeやregionにマオリ語を学ぶ場所を設けるなどの書かれているので、このspeaker commuinitiesがそれらとは別個のものなのか、重なるものなのかが分からないですね。
