英訳
こんばんは。英語の初心者です。わかりやすく解説頂けますと助かります。宜しくお願いします。 The only problem is that they have no one to take over their farm. 唯一の問題は後継者がいないことです。 という内容の解説がされています。 どどれがひとかたまりのフレーズなのか わかりません。 色々しらべたのですが 理解できませんでした。 唯一の問題は……まではわかりますが 宜しくお願いします。

The only problem ＝ 唯一の問題（problemは悪い問題） is = be動詞で、後の補語をとる、簡単に言うと後とつなげる that . . . ここが節です。 これが骨格です。 唯一の問題はthat以下のことです。 では、そのthat以下の部分をみましょう。 they = 主語＝彼ら have no one = 誰もいない →彼らには誰もいない 何をする人が？？ to take over their farm 彼らの農場（農家）を引き継ぐーー 彼らには、自分たちの農家を引き継ぐ人が誰もいない →これが問題の中身です。 唯一の問題はーーー 彼らには、自分たちの農家を引き継ぐ人が誰もいない ーーということです。 以上でご理解できたでしょうか？

take one's time Ving take one's time over 名 という「ゆっくり～する」という表現ですが、take one's time というフレーズを何度も発音し、覚えてはいるのですが、その後にVing や over 名詞 をつけて表現することがなかなかすぐに覚えることが出来ません。 そもそも、take one's time を丸暗記していただけで、文法的にはどのように把握したらよいのかと言うのもよく分かりません。 take O という第三文型で使用し、Ving や over 名 という副詞句を添えていると考えたらよいのでしょうか。 また、Ving の代わりに to不定詞 ではだめなのか、 なぜ「～の上に」という基本イメージを持つ over を使うのか。 などと釈然としません。 お分かりになる方がおられましたら、ご教示ください。

Then the time came for Tonky and Wanly. They always looked at people with loving eyes. They were sweet and gentle-hearted. However, the elephant keeepers had to stop giveng them anything to eat. When a keeper walked by their cage, they stood up and raised their trunks high in the air. They did their tricks because they were hoping to get food and water. Everyone at the zoo said with tears, “If they can live a few more days, the war may be over and they will be saved.” Tonky and Wanly could no longer move. They lay down on the ground, but their eyes were beautiful. When an elephant keeper came to see them, they looked so weak. He became too sad to go back to see them. Bombs continued to dop on Tokyo. And a few days later, Tonk and Wanly died. Later, when the bodies of the elephants were examined, nothing was found in their stomachs -not even one drop of water. Today, the three elephants rest in peace with other animals under the monument at the Ueno Zoo.

ある文章から抜粋です。 初めのtheyはtreesを意味します。 Not only have they provided people with one of their most valuable construction materials; but by their strength, beauty and stillness they have soothed their spirit and have been constant pleasure to their eyes. stillnessの前後でtheyの内容が入れ替わっているのだとは思いますが、このような書き方をすることは許されるのでしょうか。(確かに、their eyesというあたりを読めば、最後の一文のtheyがtreesを意味しているわけではないのはわかりますが)
