はじめまして、 アメリカに留学して１年経ち、現在取ってるPhilosophy(哲学) classで paperを書くのですが、topicの内容をいまいちハッキリ把握できずに困っています。 以下が与えられたtopicです Socrates said that the unexamined life is not worth living for human being. Does that strike you as a reasonable assertion? Is there any way to know whether or not an "unexamined" life is worth living except by "examining" it? How about taking off the amount I paid for my valid ticket and make it count against the full price? 上記の英文（How about 以下から）の意味が訳せなく困っています。 taking off the amount I paid for..は『・・に払った分はさし引いて』のような意味だと思うのですが あっていますでしょうか？ ただ make it count against the full priceが分かりません。 count against は『～に不利に』のような 意味らしいのですが。。
