たぶん こう言ったと思います。いえ、聞こえました。 someとも聞こえましたが、come だと思います。 状況としては、恋人が２、３日旅行に出かけたというので 私が You miss her? と言ったら、 No. I don't miss her. I used to miss her. come too old to miss her. と 言ったように聞こえました。 このcome too old to miss her とは 彼女と離れていて、淋しいと思うには つきあいが長いという意味でしょうか? または ちょっと年輩の方なので、 そう思うには歳を取りすぎたという意味でしょうか? それとも、全く私の解釈は間違っているのでしょうか?

offerには 「申し出る」to ask someone if they would like something という意味と 「提供する」to provide something that people need or want という意味がありますが、「申し出る」という意味の例文に She offered some chocolates to the children という例文がありました。 「彼女は子供たちにチョコレートが欲しいか申し出た」 とういう意味になると思うのですが 「彼女は子供たちにチョコレートをあげた」 という意味にもとれますよね？ ネイティブスピーカーはどちらの意味で考えがちなのでしょうか？ 回答よろしくお願いいたします。

A person is trained to read body language can also guess which country someone is from just by watching his or her gestures. what movement someone is making と which country someone is from が 意味不明な解釈になってしまい、文構造や訳し方が分かりません。教えてください

以下の文を英訳してみました。 手術をした人に対して『手術どうだった？』という質問に対しての答えです。 “麻酔をかける”という表現が正しく出来ているかが疑問です・・ 『右腕だけの麻酔だったので、先生が何をしているかも分かるし、何を言っているかも聞こえました。』 They only anesthetized my right arm, so I could tell what they were doing, and I could hear what they were saying.

ありがとうございます。勘違いしていました。しかし、勘違いした理由としては、come down にも、 （informal） to start to feel normal again after you have been feeling very happy and excited というような、地につく、おちつく、に近い意味で使われることがあるようです。ハッピーな状況のようなので、状況はちょっと違いますね。
