なぜ「Shall we go by taxi?」では「a」が使えないのか？

What do you think + 平叙文になるような形式の疑問文への理解が ひまひとつですので、何卒サポートいただけないでしょうか？ 例えば、How long do you think will take to get there? となるのは分かりますが、 １） What do you think how long it will take to get there? と言っても意味はくみ取れるような気がしますが、何故これはダメなのでしょうか？ つまり、ひとつの疑問文の中でWhatやHowやWhereなどが混在するのはあり得ない と理解すべきでしょうか？どうしてもなら、分けて言うとかでしょうか？ eg. What don you think of this? How loing will it take.....? みたく。 2) How do you think? とは言えず、Howなら、How do you feel? とfeelがくる と教わりましたが、以下なら言えますでしょうか？ How do you think they will move the huge rock? How do you think her mother eats foof without her teeth? ご教示いただけましたら幸甚です。よろしくお願いいたします。

how 、whatについて私の見解は正しいでしょうか、間違ってるでしょうか？ 例えば、You think it beautiful. という文を疑問文にした場合、疑問の対象がit の場合の文は What do you think beautiful? beautifulを対象にした文は What do you think it? でいいのでしょうか？ でもしYou surely think it beautiful .(不自然な感じかもしれませんがhowの使い方をしりたくて） といった場合でsurelyを疑問の対象にした場合は How do you think it beautiful? でいいのでしょうか？ もし上記が成り立ってる場合は、対象がit＝名詞、beautiful＝形容詞のときはwhat,副詞の時はhowを使うと考えていいのですか？

BBCでアナウンサーが How do you think ～? と言っていたのですが， 昔は， What(×How) do you think～? How(×What) do you feel～? と習ったのですが，日常ではHow do you think～?も使うのでしょうか？ よろしくお願いします。

(1)How about you? と What about you? は同じと理解していますが，もし違いがあれば教えてください。 (2)それと，「どう思う？」は， What do you think? であって How do you think? ではないと，今まで思っていましたが， 最近，How do you think? と書かれているのを見かけました。 どちらでもいいのでしょうか。 それとも何か違いがあるのでしょうか。 よろしくお願いします。

- “What do you think about（of）～”で、「～を
“What do you think about（of）～”で、「～をどう思いますか？」という意味ですが、 “How do you think about（of）～”は、間違いなのに、 “What do you feel about～”,“How do you feel about～” と、なぜ“feel”の場合は、“how”が使えるのかが分かりません。なぜ、そうなるのかを教えて下さい。

TVの英会話講座で、最初に講師が、“Hou should I address you?”（どのようにお呼びしたらいいですか？）という例文をあげ、「この言い方はどうですか？」と、ゲストのアメリカ人に聞いたところ、そのアメリカ人は、「ちょっとフォーマルですね。私は“What do you go by?”と言います」みたいなことを言っていました。 それに対して講師は「その言い方は初めて聞きました」と言っていました。 英語の専門家でありアメリカの大学院で修士号を取得したと履歴にある講師が初めて聞いたという“What do you go by?”って、アメリカでは一般的な言い方ですか？ それとも、とてもカジュアルな、若い人の使う言い方ですか？（そのアメリカ人は20代くらいだったので）
