疑問文の時の主語動詞の位置
アメリカのホームドラマで以下のようなせりふがあります。 man: She's amasing! female friend: Well, go over to her! She's not with anyone! man: What would my opening line be? female friend: Oh, c'mon. She's a person. You can do it! この男性のセリフで、自分だったら、What would BE my opening line? と言ってしまいそうですが、どうしてBEが文末にくるんでしょうか？ 例えば、Would you want to have some coffee? って言いますよね？語の順番の違いがよくわかりません。

SVO の場合，S と O を入れ替えると関係が逆になります。 受動態にすればいいですが。 Would you want to have some coffee? の場合の you と coffee の順番はそうです。 SVC の場合，S ＝ C であり，逆になっても意味が変わらないこともあります。 what という疑問詞を使うと，疑問詞の方が前に出ますので， どちらが主語でどちらが補語（C）なのかが判断しにくい場合があります。 What is my opening line? 「私の最初の一言は何ですか」my opening line が主語で，what は補語 「何が私の最初の一言ですか」what が主語 is だとどちらかわかりませんが，would be になると，違いがでてきます。 What would my opening line be? What would be my opening line? 「何が～なのだろうか」なら what would be ～？ 「～は何だろうか」なら what would ～ be？ あと，be 動詞の疑問文は主語との入れ替えが基本ですが， 助動詞が絡むとそちらが優先し，助動詞と主語の入れ替えで疑問文となります。 まあ，原形 be は特殊です。 （will not be であり，will be not ではない）

What would you take a visitor to your hometown to see? という文なんですけど、これは平常文に直すと You would take a visitor to what of your hometown to see. になりますか？ ちょっと違和感があります。 またこの文は間違えですか？ You would take a visitor to in part of the place of your hometown to see. または You would a visitor to where of your hometown. このWhat would you take～のwhat はどこにかかってどんな働きをしているんでしょうか？ お願いします。

奇妙なメールを貰ったのですが自分なりに訳しましたがきちんと訳せません。この文を書いたのが本当に知り合いの彼なのかどうかは分りませんがこれです。教えて下さい You call me baby and all that other stuff but I don't really get why you say those things when you have never held my hand, kissed my lips or even hugged me!
