分からない文法問題があります＞＜
Toefl Itpの文法問題の正誤問題を解いているのですが、どうしてもわからないところがあります＞＜ The (A.body structure) that developed in birds (B.over) millions of years is (C.well designed) for flight, being both (D.lightly) in weight and remarkably strong. という問題があって答えが(D)のlightで、lightly→lightに直さなきゃいけないみたいです。 both A and BでAとBは同じ品詞が入ると答えに書いています。 lightlyとremarkablyは形容詞じゃないのでしょうか？＞＜ どうしてlightになるかが疑問です。 私は,both A and BのAの部分がlightly in weightで、Bの部分がremarkably strongと思っているのですが、もしかしてこれはAがlightでBがremarkably strongなのでしょうか？

The body structure that developed in birds over millions of years is well designed for flight, being both lightly in weight and remarkably strong. 何百万年以上にもわたって鳥類で発達した体の構造は飛ぶのにうまくデザインされている。 （体の構造が）～でありつつ。 という分詞構文で， 「ありつつ」というのは「～である点で，～であるように」 と日本語では考えることができます。 ここで both light in weight「ウエイトの点で軽い」 and remarkably strong「著しく強い」 このように，主語 the body structure について， the structure is both 形容詞 and 形容詞 が基本にあり，その形容詞 light に in weight「重さの点で」 （light と言ってもいろいろな意味で「軽い」ですし，「明るい」の意味もあるので in weight によって明確にしています） もう一つ，形容詞 strong に remarkably という副詞がついている。 簡潔には both light and strong ですみます。

A) just when mime began B) when mime began just この場合、Aが正解だったのですがBを選んでしまいました。 Aを選ばなかった理由は、この問題集に「SVOと時はVOの間に何も挟まない。」と書かれていた為です。 (2) In his movies, W.C.Gibbon was always a war with the world, ( ).
