自分の研究の概要を英語でかきました。 ただ、文法や動詞等に自信がないので添削して頂きたいです。 直訳になっていないですが、大体日本文のニュアンスが通じればいいと思っています。 よろしくお願いいたします。 OCRは文書画像中の文字パターンを文字コードに変換するソフトウェアである． Optical Characters Reader (OCR) is software to convert character patterns in the document image into character codes. 情景画像にOCRを使用した場合，文書画像と比べていい結果が得られない． In the case of applying OCR to scene images doesn't promise better than document images. これは文書画像より情景画像の方が雑音が多いからだ． Because scene images than document images is included a lot of noise. 近年の情景画像文字に対してのアプローチとして， 画像一枚に対していかに文字と背景を分離できるかが挙げられる． In recent years, approach of character patterns of scene image point to method of the separating characters from noise in regard to the only image. 私の提案手法として、複数の画像をパンチルトズームカメラで取得し，情景中の文字と背景雑音の分離について解決する． I present to solve it through getting a number of images appropriating pan-tilt-zoom camera. 複数取得できることにより，１つの文字に対して文字の位置，文字の大きさを変化させ，様々な状態で処理が可能となる． Processing is possible in condition of variety by taking many images which changes location of characters and size of characters.

カナダ製のパソコンソフトを使っているのですが、そのサポート掲示板に書き込みをしようと思います。以下のような文章で、英文としておかしくないでしょうか。 文字化けに関する質問なのですが、「文字化け」の訳が分からなかったので、funny charactersと訳してあります。適切な訳語もあわせてご教授ください。 お手数をおかけします。 I'm from Japan. Now I'm making a program to save data of a bulletin board written in EUC-JP. When I use ctrl+D, dump variable command, of the Debugger in your Perl Dev Kit, a lot of funny characters is showed in its dialog titled "Contents".Funny characters are like "\267\373\313\241\243\271\276\362\244\313...". In another way, displaying the same variable on the LCD by using printf command in the program, it shows me normal Japanese charactors. I copied these funny ones and paste them into the editor, and used its command to translate charactors into EUC-JP, but nothing had changed. Could you tell me how I should do to repair the funny characters into normal Japanese ones. The version of the PDK is 8.2.1.
