Find a function g that computes the salary during the xth year. その答えが41000(1.12)^x-1 となるそうですが、まずなぜ0.12に1を足すのかわかりません。またｘからなぜ1を引いているのかも…。 来週テストで解説を読んでもやはり理解できません。どうぞよろしくお願い致します。

日本では消費税は5%です。 300円の商品にかかる消費税は300 × 0.05 = 15円と計算します。 でも消費税込みの値段を計算する時は300 × 0.05で計算しませんよね？ 300 × (1 + 0.05) = 315円と計算しますよね。 > まずなぜ0.12に1を足すのかわかりません。 前述の「消費税込みの値段の計算の仕方」と一緒です。 0.12は去年の給料に対してどれだけ給料が増加するかを表します。 なので実際の給料を計算する時は 前年度の給料 × (1 + 0.12) で計算します。 > またｘからなぜ1を引いているのかも…。 実際に1年目、2年目、…の給料を計算してみて 検証してみれば分かると思います。 1年目の給料 = 41000 2年目の給料 = 1年目の給料 × 1.12 = 41000 × 1.12 3年目の給料 = 2年目の給料 × 1.12 = 41000 × 1.12 × 1.12 4年目の給料 = 3年目の給料 × 1.12 = 41000 × 1.12 × 1.12 × 1.12 ・ ・ ・ 例えば3年目の給料を計算する式を見ると、 41000円にかけられる1.12の数が2個になってますよね？ 4年目の給料を計算する式を見ると、 41000円にかけられる1.12の数が3個になってます。 同様に考えれば、x年目の給料を計算する時は、 41000円に1.12をx-1個かければよいことになりますよね。 なのでx年目の給料は41000 × 1.12^(x-1)で計算できる事になります。

英語が分からないのか・・・ 数学的な部分が分からないのか・・・ 問題文の「ストーリー的な部分」は割愛して 要は， 給料 a 毎年 r% 昇給， x 年間目の給料は？ ってことです． 1年目：a 2年目：a+ar = a(1+r) 3年目：a(1+r) + a(1+r)r = a(1+r)^2 これでわかるでしょ？ 経営者としては 「まずなぜ0.12に1を足すのかわかりません」 みたいな人を 雇えれば，給料安く済みます

A Most of my friends say `I attend university to graduate." So, I think people attend university to graduate. There are several reasons why I believe my friends are majority. First, to graduate university you have to get enough credits and nowadays the number of teachers who never give students credit without attendance is increasing. For example, one of my friend did very well on test but he could not get the credit because he rarely attend the class. Second, to get good job and high salary it is necessary for students to graduate university. If you want to become high-ranking official, you must graduate from university.There is a big difference between who graduate university and who did not on salary. This is decided by law so even if you have high ability, but did not graduate university you can not get high salary.

By compare workers who graduates high school with four-year college, wages is a difference of about 1.8 times. Workers who serve in large company is far more than high school by comparison with four-year college. 「高卒と４大卒の賃金を調べると約１・８倍も違う。 大企業に勤めている人は４大卒の人の方がはるかに多い。」 （大企業という言い方なのですが、参考にした本でlarge companyと記載があったのでそのまま使用します） こちらの英文の添削をお願いします。

中学レベルの数学の問題（英文）です。 読んで計算してもちょっとピンとこなかったので、 説明から回答までご指導頂けると助かります。 A company produces 50 tennis rackets per day for a total daily cost of $3,855, and 60 rackets per day for a total daily cost of $4,245. Assuming that daily cost and production are linearly related, find the equation of the total daily cost of producing x tennis rackets. Then find the total daily cost of producing 85 tennis rackets. 私の考え方では、 （3855+4245）/110という計算式なのですが、 そうすると単価が＄73.6363・・・と続いてしまい、 ちょっと不自然な気がしています。 どうぞよろしくお願い致します。
