我々はダブルコーチン（ＤＣＸ）を増殖するために、径口でＰ７Ｃ３を３０日間投薬して動物の脳組織を着色した。ＤＣＸは微細管に関連する蛋白でニューロン（脳神経細胞）新生のマーカーとなる。更にそれは新生と最終的に成熟する適時期間内に新しく形成されたニューロンの一時的な発現に基ずくものである。
