I went with my friend. という例文で この with my friend には大変な問題があるそうだ。 my friend というと the friend of mine と言う意味になり、the が誰を指すかが話し手と聞き手の間に共通の認識がない場合は、the only friend of mine という意味になり、つまりこの人には友達は一人しかいないことになってしまうので、友達が一人でないならば、 with one of my friend または with a friend と言わなければいけないとのことである。 これは、大変良く理解できたのだが、では、友達（の一人）と歩いているときに、例えば学校の先生とか親戚の人に会って、自分の友達を紹介しなければいけない状況で This is my friend, Mr. Sato. は、やはり間違いなのでしょうか？ 目の前にいる人のことだから、my friend で良いような気もしますが、自信がありません。 辞書でmyを引いてもこのような記述は全然ありません。 （まあ、この項だけの事ではないけれど） 出来れば英語環境で育ったような方のご回答を期待しています。

訳を手伝ってください。翻訳機を使わなくても英語がわかるかたおしえてください。 女の子のお友達からのメールなんですが、わかりづらいです。ちなみにＡＡＡとはネイティブの男性です i was talking wiith ＡＡＡ thinking that he were one of my friends(i was thinking maybe my friend is hide in this contact but not was..) i think i made a big mistake i was really ungry so i said many stupid things and all of that things are lie, then he said maybe if you said to my friend everything are better, i thought well if you want to stay playing also i wll so i sent a message to my friend telling that stupid things for that reason i was really needing the true who is ＡＡＡ, 私はＡＡＡと話していた、彼は私の友達の１人だ。（私はたぶん私の友達は、、、、、） 私は大きな間違えをしたと思う。私あｈすごく怒ってたくさん悪いこと言ったすべて嘘だけど。そのときｈ彼はたぶん、もしあなたが私の友達にすべて言うのはいい。。。。。。わかりませんおしえてください

When I was in elementary school student, There is the experience that my friend didn't understand my explanation. I taught a friend homework. She was very weak in arithmetic. Therefore I taught arithmetic. I explained it for me hard, She can't understand. After having been trobled, Friend and I went to a staff room. The friend understood the place that didn't know by the careful explanation of the teacher. The teacher of the school thought that teaching was really good. I noticed that it was very difficult to teach a person something. 日本語文 私は小学生のときに、友達に自分の説明を理解してもらえなかった経験があります。 私は友達に算数を教えていました。 彼女は算数がとても苦手でした。 そこで私は彼女に算数を教えていました。 私なりに一生懸命説明しましたが、彼女はなかなか理解して貰えませんでした。 困った挙げ句、私と友達は職員室に行きました。 友達は先生の丁寧な説明で分からないところを理解しました。 私は自分の教えかたはまだまだ未熟であったと理解しました。(ここの訳は分かりませんでした…) 学校の先生は本当に教えかたが上手だなと尊敬しました。 人に何かを教えることは簡単ではないことをとても実感しました。

Nope, but all my friends just know me by Cherry Chau. I got the name Chau cause of my brother's girlfriend. She is haft Chinese. On my first year of high school she went on my computer and changed my family name to her family name, Chau. She thought it would be funny because my name is Cherry and her name is Sherry.
