tearjerkerって実際に使われている単語なのでしょうか？以下の英作をしてみたのですがどなたか添削していただければと思います。よろしくお願いします。 この前友達と○○という映画を見に行きました。お涙頂戴ものみたいなかんじだったのですが、映画館を出るとき、私が泣き顔だったので友達に笑われました。恥ずかしかったです。ビデオで見たほうがよかったかも。 My friend and I went to see a movie called "○○" the other day. It was a tearjerker. When we got our of the theater, my eyes were so red that my friend made fun of me. How embarrasing! Maybe I should have thought of watching it on video.

tear-jerker n. (informal)a story etc. calculated to produce tears oof sadness or sympathy との説明あり。The Oxford Papaerback Dictinary の英国版です。 タイプミスと思いますが、When we got out of...,ですか？ なかなかこうは、書けない良い英語と思いました。

こんばんは。 tearjerkerは小説や映画等で結構見ますよ～。 I went to see a movie called "○○" with a friend of mine the other day. It was a tearjerker. When we got out of the theater, my eyes were so red that he made fun of me. How embarrassing! Maybe I should have thought of watching it on video. 文も大体o.k.('ー')b

アメリカ英語では使うみたいですね。インフォーマルな表現ですが。お分かりのようですが、名詞なので冠詞は必要。 英作文は、、 Maybe I should have saw it on video. のほうがいいでしょうね。くどくなくていいと思います。あと、映画を見るのはseeですよね。 前置詞はonでいいのか自信ありません。だから私だったら、Maybe I should have saw the video of it. のようにごまかしますね。

When I was in elementary school student, There is the experience that my friend didn't understand my explanation. I taught a friend homework. She was very weak in arithmetic. Therefore I taught arithmetic. I explained it for me hard, She can't understand. After having been trobled, Friend and I went to a staff room. The friend understood the place that didn't know by the careful explanation of the teacher. The teacher of the school thought that teaching was really good. Nope, but all my friends just know me by Cherry Chau. I got the name Chau cause of my brother's girlfriend. She is haft Chinese. On my first year of high school she went on my computer and changed my family name to her family name, Chau. She thought it would be funny because my name is Cherry and her name is Sherry.
