<sales charge> sales chargeは販売手数料でよいと思います。この文章では、「手数料」で十分かも。 <NAV> NAVを基準価額と訳すのは、この場合は誤りで純資産額と訳すべきケースだと思います。(日本語の「基準価額」とは一口あたりのNAVに対してのみ使われる概念なので。) ただし、NAV transfer programを無理やり「純資産組換えプログラム」と訳しても何のことだかさっぱりわからないし、この後このプログラムに関する説明も出てくるので、prettySueさんの訳のように「NAVプログラム」としておいた方が、すっきりしてわかりやすいと思います。 <その他> ・ファンドは債券ではないので、redeemを償還と訳すのは誤り。「売却」でよいと思います。厳密に訳したいのであれば、「解約」でしょうか。 ・failed to provideを「提供しなかった」と訳すと、意図的に提供しなかったと誤解される可能性があるような気がします。(重箱の隅と思えるなら読み飛ばして下さい。)「提供することに失敗した」ないしは「提供することができなかった」と愚直に訳す選択肢もあると思います。

A problem with market value is that it reflects not just facts and analysis of the company's value,but also investors' emotions. When overall share prices are falling,investors tend to panic and sell their shares as well,forcing down a company's share price for reasons that have nothing to do with the company. Share prices are often artificially increased for similar reasons. So the advantages of market value are that it is easy to calculate and usually provides a good,objective measure of what the company's shareholders think it is worth. fail to は、意図的に～しなかった場合は含まれないのですね。やはり、正確に訳すべきでした。御指摘ありがとうございました。
