こんにちは！ Of particular interest for the interpretation of the events across the Taiwan Strait in the post-Cold-War world are the security implications of the globalization process. Of particular interest ... は、ＳＶＣのＣに当たるわけで、倒置といっていいものですが、「強調」というよりは、アイデアの流れを重視したものです。 著者の言いたいことは The issues that are of particular interest .... are the security implications ... ということで、本当はＣがＳに当たる内容なのですが、どうしても redundant になってしまいます。それを倒置という形で economicalに実現しているのです。よく使われる手法です。この場合はそうではないですが、主語部分が長い場合、好んで使われます。 したがって、その呼吸で、貴訳のようにＣを主語のように訳すのが当を得ています。 冷戦終結後の台湾海峡で生じた諸事件を解釈する上で特に関心を集めているのは、今後グローバライゼーションを進めていくうえで、それらが安全保障上の問題にとってどのような関わりを持つかということである。 以上、ご参考になれば幸いです。
