「任意の１件」の訳
複数件あるうちの「任意の１件」を英語にしたいのですが何と言えばよいでしょうか？ 以下のようなので良いのでしょうか？ Arbitrary one. one of any. 以下の文を考えています。 「任意の１件にその値を設定する」 set the value to 「任意の１件」 以上宜しくお願い致します。

よく言う「アトランダム」が使えないでしょうか？ choose ～ at random 「～を無作為（任意に）に選ぶ」 と言うのがありますので、 set the value to one at random あたりもどうでしょう？

こんにちは。 「任意の一件」という単語ではないのですが、私たちが良く使う言葉で、 at your discretion 自己裁量で/一任で、という表現があります。 ちょっと堅い表現ですが・・・。 「任意の１件にその値を設定する」 という意味がいまいち判らないのですが、 「幾つかの物があり、その中からみんな（あなた？）が選んだ１つに、ある価格を制定する」と言うことでしょうか？ set the price for any one of those you selected at your discretion. とかでしょうか・・・。 直訳だと、 「あなた（たち）が自ら選んだどれか１つに、その値を設定する」という意味になります。 意味合いが違ったらすみません＾＾；
