Gです。 補足質問を読ませてもらいました。 ＞こういう感じでしょうか？You know cell-phone is called “shouji”in Chinese? はい、そう言う事です。 お気が付いたようですが、you know, you understand, you remember, など、この後に来るthat節に対してのその言われている人が「当然」know, understand, rememberであるに違いないというフィーリングで特によく使われる表現ですね。 しかし、営業マン（消費者を相手にしたBtoCの)が良く使う表現で「そうであることを相手に植え付ける」話術として良く使われる時はこの？マークを使わない表現の方法がありますね。 You know you love this product. というような表現ですね。 そして念を押す必要があり相手のYesが必要な場合は、You know you love this product?と言う表現・しゃべり方に変わるわけです。 このどちらを使うかはその営業マンの実力になるわけです。 ？マークをつけることで、しり上がりにしゃべっているということをしまえしており、付加疑問のようなフィーリングを与えるわけです。 文法家は「付加疑問のカンマの後が省略されたもの」と説明するかもしれません。 ただ、それじゃ言葉として使えるようになるにはもったいないな、と私は感じるわけです。

In the six months leading up to it, it was discussed often and always as a guys-only weekend. On the car ride there, my husband found out that some men were bringing their wives. I am furious at the couple for lying to me. I wouldn’t have wanted to go, and I wouldn’t have been upset that my husband was going, but I do think it’s a huge lie considering we talked about it no less than 10 times in the months leading up.
