「〜ができるようにならなくてはならない」 こういう和文はついつい (1) I have to come to be able to 〜 (2) I have to be able to 〜 (3) I should be able to 〜 と直訳したくなります。(1) は間違いではないみたいですが、用例が極めて少ないです。(2) ならば使えるみたいです。これに似た例で、I want to be able to も使えるようです。しかし have to be able to もまた用例がそんなに多くはないように思えます。ただ、have to be able to do はもしかしたら、「できるようにならないといけない」ではなくて、「（すでに）できる状態でないといけない」という意味ではないかという気がします。(3) は、「できるようにならないといけない」でなくて、「（すでに）できるはずだ」とか「（すでに）できるのでないといけない」という意味で使われるのが普通だと思います。というわけで、(2), (3) は同じような意味で使われるのが普通ではないかという気がしています。 have to be able to do の用例 Number one, the next president of the United States, I think you’d all have to admit, is going to have to be able to do two things. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/01/17/opinion/joe-biden-nytimes-interview.html 上の用例はさほど明らかではないですが、「できるようにならないといけない」ではなくて「すでにできる状態でないといけない」といういみではないかという気がします。 上のような言い回しでなく、僕は (4) I must learn to... (1-2) I Must Learn to Live Alone (1-3) I must learn to love the fool in me--the one who feels too much, talks too much, takes too many chances, wins sometimes and loses often, lacks self-control ... （上のものは Jane Austen の小説に出てきたりして、とてもよく使われるようです。） (2-1) I've Got to Learn to Say No (2-2) I’ve Got To Learn To Live Without You (2-3) I've got to learn to mambo (2-4) I've got to learn to forget （上のものはすべて歌のタイトルなので、よほどよく使われる表現なのでしょう。） なお、learn to do だけでなく、learn how to do も使われますが、この二つにはどのようなニュアンスがあり、どのように使い分けられるかについては、今のところ僕にはよくはわかっていません。 こういう簡単な表現に関しても、まだまだ僕にはよくはわかっていません。仮に説明しようとすると、以上のように長ったらしい説明をしないといけなくなり、途中で辻褄が合わなくなるのではないか、あるいは自説を裏付ける証拠が不足しているのではないかと不安になります。もしかしてこれは、少なくとも日本語を母語とする人のあいだでの小さな盲点になっているのではないかと思うくらい、きちんとした解説文も少ないような気がします。ただ、英語に近い言語を母語とする人たちにとってはあまりに自明のことでしょうから、英文でこれをきちんと解説してくれるようなサイトもおそらく少ないのではないかと想像しています。 何かご意見があればお伺いしたいと思います。

Hahah, take your time, no rush ! Hmm.. First step to learning English would be practice I guess. You have to understand the grammar and then it gets easier. After that you just have to learn more words. I get a lot of practice writing Japanese so I can help you improve your English =) Your English is fine! It's a lot better than a lot of people I know. How long have you been studying it for? By the way, how old are you? I can't remember if I asked this. I live in ========...
