うっかり倒置と言ってしまいましたが，厳密には倒置というのはLittle did I dream ...と，疑問文のような語順になることをいい，Where he lives I don't know.のようなOSV，Down came the girl.のような場合や今回のliesは倒置とは言いません。ついでにご質問の文を訳すと，「広いアジア大陸を完全に横切って，太平洋のはずれに，...はあります」となります。
