添削お願いします。
テーマ（交通） 1.交通渋滞にも関わらず、私はどうにか時間内に空港に着くことが出来ました。 2.私は自動車を運転して３０年になるが幸いこれまで事故にあったことが無い。 3.すみませんが、最寄の郵便局へ行く一番良い方法を教えていただけませんか？ 1.Though traffic was heavy, I maneged to get to the airport in time. 2.I have been driving for almost thirty years and happily haven't experienced an accident. 3.Excuse me, could you tell me the best way to nearby post office? ちょっと心配なのは２番ですが、もしかして「30年間ずっと車を運転し続けている」という意味になってしまってるなんてことはないでしょうか？なってたら大いに笑ってください... ちょっと文のレベルは下げたので減ってるとは思いますが、それでもまだまだたくさん間違えがあると思いますのでご指摘よろしくお願いします。

英訳ですからいろいろな言い方が出来ますね。 １．私はシンプルが好きなので「渋滞にもかかわらず」は even with heavy traffic. なんていうのはどうでしょう。 にもかかわらずでin spite ofというのもありますがちょっと文語的？な感じが個人的にはしますし。 蛇足ですがたしかwas able toとCould は入れ替えない方がいいと思います。Could の場合本当は可能だったんだけどしなかった。というニュアンスがあるようです。 ２．はhappily というよりもやはりfortunately もしくはluckly でしょうね。happy というともっとPositiveになにかいいことがあった場合に使う方がしっくり来るようです。今回は悪いことが起こらなくてよかったという感じですから。もっともやはりケースバイケースでしょうかね。 「事故にあっていない」は I have never encountered any accidients. 「大きい事故にはあっていない」であればany serious accidents. experience は名詞しかないような．．．と思ったら動詞としてもあるようですね。間違いではないようですね。失礼しました。ただ個人的には動詞としてはあまり使ったことがないので I've never had any accident experience. みたいになってしまいやっぱりencounter の方が個人的にはすっきりするような気がします。すみません。 奥の手として、とくに口語であれば and no accident at all. としてしまってもいいですね。 ３．はonLineHonyakuさんの表現がよさそうですがただ日本文を見るに「1番いい方法」と言うところが引っかかります。 例えばfrom here でなく around here とした場合、質問者は郵便局の場所は知っているけどバスがいいのか、タクシーがいいのか、電車がいいのか、はたまた歩いていけるのかわからないから聞いているということにはなりずらいような気がします。その辺も見越してonLineHonyakuさんはfrom here とされているのでしょう。

Although, there was a lot of traffic, I was able to get to the airport on time. I've been driving for almost thirty years, and fortunately I have never experienced any accident. まずこの質問を見て頂きありがとうございます。 今回は題名通りの事で少し長いのですが英文の添削をお願いできませんか？ かれこれ2年程英語に触れていない中で英文を書く事になったので正直不安なのです。 ちなみに内容は飲酒運転についてです。 “drunk driving”is to drive a car after drink. After this speach,I want you to think about this problem. I'm going to talk about two point “cause accident and kill”and“lose social status” ・First “cause accident and kill” Drunk driver may cause an accident. Because driver who can't right jugement when drink. and it may cause that murder person. For example, Three years ago, Three children lost their life by drunk-driving. ・Second“ lose social status” Besides, drunk driving have another bad possibilities. For example,It is that arrested by the police. Recently the police inspect the cars at many places.If you drink and drive, you will arrest by the police.and this news is spread quickly for family,company,and friend.Then your social status will be lost. Recently in Japan,policeman was laid off for drunk driving. I got injured in a traffic accident when I was riding my motorcycle on the way home. A reckless driver driving behaind me hit my motorcycle ,trying overtaking reclessly and I fell off the motorcycle.Right after I lifted myself up off the ground, the driver pulled his car over the side of the road about a few meters ahead of me ,got off his car and came close to me saying "it was your fault,not mine." I replied with anger "You know that this road is a no-passing zone ,and all you need is apologize to me first,isn't it?" But he repeated a contradictory excuse, and what is worse,he didn't so much as call an ambulance.Neverthless .I was seriously injured all over the body. After received treatment for my injuries at the hospital, I got a call from him and he showed his apollogy on the accident, but I'l lnever forgive him because he should have had to do it at the accident site and I won't accept his apology just on the phone. 宜しくお願いします。 Nevethelessの用法で、にも拘らずと入れたのですが、「私が体中怪我をしているのにもかかわらず、救急車を呼びもしなかった。」と表現したかったのですが。 また、「彼の謝罪は遅すぎたし、～」と表すのにもっと慣用的な表現があれば教えて頂きたく思います。
