上手な翻訳の仕方

どちらの英文も「文脈」がありません。文脈がないときは、ぎこちない日本語に訳すのが正解です。特に学校のテストの解答ではそうです。 例えば、 「I have a problem with my room.」の文を「私は部屋のことで問題を抱えている。」などと訳すと、ひねくれた（？）先生は減点するかもしれません。 また、「It's interesting.」を「そいつぁ面白い」などと訳すと、先生によっては ◎ をつけてくれるかもしれませんが ▲ にする先生もいそうです。 さて、ご質問に書かれていること 》 翻訳するとぎこちない日本語なってしまうときはどうすればいいですか これは英語力ではなく日本語力の問題ですから、”文章力” などのキーワードで本を探して読んでみられたらどうでしょうか。また日頃の読書も大切ですね。
