英文を下記のように訳しました。訳は合っていますか？

キリスト教の教会のようなドーンとした建物がないことを、異文化への驚きと、何らかの意味での皮肉を込めて言った一文のような気がしますが、前後の文脈がないと意味がわかりませんね、、すくなくとも私には。 この一文だけをみると、その訳文しかないのかな、、、

回答ありがとうございます。年始のころにされた質問ですので、明治神宮に初もうでに出かけた外国人の方が、1時間以上歩いたが見つけられず、皮肉を言った英文かなと思いました。他の質問サイトで質問された英文なのですが、他の方の回答がつかないため訳が正しいのか、間違っているのかわからず、こちらでご意見を聞きたくて質問させていただきました。
