1. rate plan は使わなくはないですが、殆どの場合 data plan またはwireless plan です。 加入するは、subscribe またはbuyでも良いです。携帯電話会社はwireless carrier またはmobile network operator ですが、通常はcarrier。 data plan はリストアップされているので、その中からの選択であれば疑問形はwhatよりもwhich。ただ、携帯会社も含めて幅広い内容を聞くのであれば、what kind of が良いかも知れません。 What kind of data plan of a carrier are you subscribing? あるいは単純に Which data plan have you bought? と聞いても、普通通信会社名も答えるでしょうね。 2. I want to buy a data plan of thirty dollars' worth. Can I use this cell phone/smartphone to connect to the internet? #3です。 >すみません。因みにsubscribing to?と自動詞用法ではないのでしょうか？ 失礼しました。subscribing to でした。 後、通話オンリーの話だったのですね？ただ、ネットにつないだらやはり時間ではなくパケットの容量で規定されていると思います。国によって言い方が違うかも知れませんが、アメリカだと通話はvoice。通話のみだったらvoice only。通常voiceでどれくらいかけられるかとdataのパケット量とは別々で連動していません。

＃１です。補足です。 ＞＞ここでは敢えてhow many daysでなくhow long is this prepaid card available?how long will I use up this prepaid card ?とした方が良いのでしょうか？ How long is this prepaid card available? だと「いつまでこの種のカードは売っていますか」あるいは「いつまで売っていますか」という意味になります。 How long will I use up this prepaid card ? だと「私はいつまでに使い切るでしょうか」で、遠いところへ、長くかけるのと近いところへ短くかけれのとで違いますから、答えようがない質問になります。

but would warn you that i have used this before and i have found that it doesn't get there any quicker . maybe a day or two sooner than normal mail i send . . but if the other takes 2 weeks or more and this only gets there around that time, its not worth the money in my opinion.

回答ありがとうございます。要はsimと30ドル分会話できる（）一分～セント）を欲しくて、data planは特に何もないただの通話機能だけのcellphoneで、もしかしてネットをつなぐことができるのであればどれくらい使えばまたチャージしなおさなければならないのか、と聞きたかったのですよね？外国に行ったときに同様のケースがあってネットにはつなげるが一時間使えば例えば3ドルぽっきりで、（通貨は違いますが）data planとかは特にないような使い捨て携帯電話だったのです。本来であれば説明書を読めばいいだけの話なのですが。
