＞A CULT OF IGNORANCEの和訳 ⇒直訳すれば、「無知の崇拝」という感じです。 アイザック・アシモフ（Isaac Asimov）が、1980年に、無知を鼻にかけるような人や風潮を揶揄して言った言葉らしいですね。
補足
そうなのですね。 それについて書かれた記事の和訳が課題として出ているのですが、なかなか難しくて断念してしまいました。 つまり知識が大切だといったようなニュアンスなのですかね？

The new temple demonstrated the supremacy of Rome’s most prestigious cult, and emphasized the romanitas of the new colony.
