Physical development Adolescence is often considered to begin with puberty, the appearance of mature sexual characteristics. In girls this is marked by menarche, the onset of menstruation. The average age is about 12^1/2 years , but the normal range is of growth in height and weight begins to increase, reaching a peak about a year before the menarche. The peak rate is the most rapid growth in the postnatal period. Because of its timing, this period of rapid growth is sometimes called the preadolescent growth spurt. In boys there is no striking change analogous to the menarche to mark the beginning of adolescence. However, a growth spurt in height and weight occurs, and its pattern is about the same as in girls except that it is about two years later. Thus, adolescence begins about two years later in boys than in girls. Like girls, boys vary widely in the age at which puberty begins. However, the “average” early-maturing boy begins puberty at about the average normal age for the beginning of puberty in girls. Similarly, the “average” late-maturing girl begins puberty at about the average normal age for boys. Research shows such individuals have few problems in learning to adjust to the opposite sex. The early-maturing boy has the better time of it, though, because he is also a hero to the normally-maturing boys, while the late-maturing girl is not well accepted by normally-maturing girls. In contrast, the early-maturing girl is too far ahead of her classmates of both sexes, and the late-maturing boy too far behind. Both have adjustment problems.

Cola is a unique drink in that it was originally invented for use as a medication. There are many local brands as well as major world brands like Coca-Cola and Pepsi. Both the Coca-Cola Co. and PepsiCo, Inc. are based in the U.S.A.; Coca-Cola was born in the state of Georgia in 1886, while Pepsi originated in North Carolina in 1898. Both companies have subsidiary networks that cover most of the world. Coke and Pepsi have long competed against each other utilizing mass media such ass TV, radio, nuwspapers, and magazines to obtain a larger share of worldwide sales. Ad campaigns for alcoholic drinks are often restricted by certain regulations becaus minors are babbed from drinking alcohol. But soft drink ads are less limited, and the two major cola companies can usually be counted on to come up with highly creative commercials that win both customers and prizes. よろしくお願いします><

Meta review of systematic and meta analytic reviews on movement differences, effect of movement based interventions, and the underlying neural mechanisms in autism spectrum disorder Abstract Purposes: To identify and appraise evidence from published systematic and meta analytic reviews on (1) movement differences of individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD); (2) the effects of movement based interventions for ASD; (3) hypothesized underlying neural mechanisms for the movement characteristics. Methods: A meta review of published systematic and meta analytic reviews on movement differences, structural, and functional brain anomalies in ASD and the effects of movement based interventions for individuals with ASD between 1806 and October 2012. The methodological quality of the identified systematic and meta analytic reviews was independently assessed by two assessors with the assessment of multiple systematic reviews (AMSTAR). Results: The search yielded a total of 12 reviews that met the inclusion/exclusion criteria. The methodological quality of the reviews varied, but the review conclusions were similar. Although individuals with ASD generally perform less well than age-matched controls in developmental movement tasks, there are few exceptions whose movement abilities are intact. Most movement based interventions report their efficacies. However, all existing studies employ the research design that is inherently incapable of providing strong evidence, and they often fail to report the extent of psychosocial interactions within the movement interventions. The hypothesized neural mechanisms are still under development and speculative in nature. Conclusions: It is premature to designate movement disturbance as a core symptom of ASD. The effects of movement based interventions on the present ASD core symptoms need to be further validated by stronger evidence and verified theoretical mechanisms linking ASD with movement disorders.

A lot of demands are put on the patient, including emotional ones. A person in this situation often feels helpless.Pain can cause a person to feel like giving up. Physical therapy is difficult, so any improvement helps patients with their recovery. In recent years, newer methods of physical therapy have become popular. One of the most helpful trends is for physical therapy to take place in the water. There are several reasons for this. First of all, warm water is more comfortable for the patient. The decreased gravity in water makes it easier to do the exercises.Plus, the water gives resistance to exercises. This results in greater stamina and strength as time goes by. Many types of patients, with various disabilities, are now benefiting from this method. Other modern methods of physical therapy include swimming, karate, dance and shiatsu. These types of therapies are especially popular with children.Kids not only improve their motor skills, but they have fun as well.Since physical therapy is often difficult and painful, people often feel like giving up. If both cards are within the range of 1 to 3, it reflects the beginning of a cycle. If the cards are within the range of 4-6, it is the middle of a cycle, and if they are within the range of 7-10, it is the end of a cycle.

Adolescence is a period of advancement to adulthood. There is no clear point at which one can say that the adolescent has changed to man or woman. As with all biological phenomena, and most psychological changed, there is a process going on that involves barely perceptible changes from one day to the next. Often parents do not realize how quickly the changes are in fact taking place, however, until someone who has not seen the adolescent for a few months comments on the remarkable growth in height, or change in voice (in both males and females), or onset of other visible signs of maturity , some of which are sexual. Adolescent girls may worry about the size of their breasts-too small or too large, depending on the current fad-and boys about the size of their penis-“too small”, usually, but occasionally “too large.” Disuse, incidentally, does not cause the penis to atrophy, nor does frequent use make it larger(Katchadourian,1997).

Loss of the ability to walk safely is often a primary reason for nursing home placement . the most common causes of such gait and balance disturbances are organic brain syndromes and musculoskeletal disorders . but even in the absence of specific diseases, disturbances in gait and balances may produce disability in up to 13%of older individuals . furthermore, nonspecific changes in gait and balance affect nearly all older individuals and are attributed to the normal aging process .reported changes have included increased postural sway accompanied by decreases in ambulatory velocity , step and stride length , step cadence and swingtime ratio . Impairments in gait and balance lead ton such undesirable consequences as heat of falling, galls with fractures , loss of confidence , loss of independence and lowered quality of life. Within long term care institutions , between 40 and 50% of residents will fall during any given year . musculoskeletal weakness , poor balance and number of prescribed medications have been associated with falling among institutionalized subjects . additionally, isokinetic testing of institutionalized fallers has demonstrated both knee and ankle weakness compared with controls . postural sway has also been found to be higher among those who fall . gait comparison of subjects hospitalized after falls versus controls has demonstrated slow walking speed , short step length , narrow stride width , a wide range of stepping frequency , large variability of step length and increasing variability with increasing step frequency . 毎度です(笑) 翻訳出来る方よろしくお願いします。

訳をお願いします・・・! Our ancestors invented a variety of beverages, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The three major alcoholic drinks are beer, wine, and whisky. Beer was first produced by the Babylonians about 4000 BC and is now the most popular. In most cases, beer is made from fermented barley, called malt, and given a slightlybitter flavor by adding hops. Wine is made from fermented grape juice. It was originally produced along the Rhine, Rhone, and Loie rivers in Europe. Whisky, also spelled whiskey, originated either in Scotland or in Ireland, and is distilled from fermented grain aged in oak barrels. Whisky often has an alcohol content of from 40 to 50 percent . There are also a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as fruit juice, coffee, tea, sodas, and colas. Juice, coffee, and tea are usually consumed at meal times, but sodas and colas are often reserved for leisure and recreational activities. よろしくお願いします><

Respect! People, futures and places open the interpretation of Respect topic towards the contemporary challenges, as identified with the SDG - Sustainable Development Goals - by UN (www.globalgoals.org). The ultimate goal of design – and all the related work a designer brings to the table – is to improve the world and people’s lives. Getting dressed, moving about, entertaining ourselves, telling stories, thinking, living in our homes: these are just some of the things we do as a matter of habit, but which have the ultimate aim of making us feel better, whether individually or collectively. The goal of sustainable development is to improve individual quality of life and at the same time to improve the collective condition of the planet. Develop your project based on one of the objectives stated in the Brief: Identify three design products (material or immaterial, physical or digital) of the last fifteen years that has contributed to increase the level of respect towards individuals, genders, minorities, cultures, environments and habitats. Select one that’s relevant to the specific undergraduate course you’re interested in and comment the reasons behind your choice.
