I live in a Southern state, and our home is located in a community of houses that are built pretty close together. Our neighborhood is a mix of families and young professionals. TOEICのPart7対策教材に以下英文がありました。2か所asが出てきますが、意味が訳せませんでした。 Feedback from representatives has been incredibly favorable, as has that from clients. Our representatives have asked a group of clients to evaluate the process. 85 percent of those surveyed rated the presentation as either very good or excellent. (営業担当者からのフィードバックは非常に好評で、顧客からも同様の評価を得ました。担当者たちが選ばれた顧客にこの方法の評価を依頼したところ、回答者の85パーセントはプレゼンテーションを"大変良い"または"素晴らしい"と評価しました。) （１）as has that from clientsですが、これはas it has been incredibly favorable from clientsと考えるのでしょうか？ （２）as either very good or excellentのところは、なぜasが必要なのでしょうか？また、このasの意味を「～として」と訳すのが良いでしょうか？rate as みたいなイディオムは無さそうです。 宜しくお願いします。

この文の意味が良く分からず困ってます。 As a gift one year, my dad gave my mom a set of four tires, which he unveiled in a card with a picture of Goodyears glued inside (points for presentation, at the very least, Dad). "which"以降からがサッパリ？？なのですが・・・どなたか教えて頂けませんか？

アルク2002年10月号の教材の中で分からないところがあります。 Many misunderstandings arise as a result of the increase in rapid communication,sometimes causing serious problems. 「コミュニケーション迅速化の結果として多くの誤解が生じ、時として深刻な問題を引き起こすことがある」 これは誤文訂正問題で、as a result のaが抜けた文が問題となっていました。 解説は「resultは数えられる名詞なので、単数であれば不定冠詞のaが必要。as a result（結果として）やas the result of～（～の結果として）などはよく用いられる表現。」となっていました。 as a resultとas the result of～は非常に似た表現で今回の問題文ではどちらでもいいのでは？と思います。the increaseのtheと同じように考えてthe result でもいいのではないでしょうか？？ なぜas the result ではなくas a resultになるのか教えてください。宜しくお願いします！
