答えは4番です 正解は The better news in that the medicine we have applied does seem (to) be working です 訳すと いいニュースは薬の効果がでてきたようだ で間違っていたやつを訳すと いいニュースは薬の効果がきたようだです

初歩的な文法について質問があります。 The consultant recommended that more support staff be hired. という一文に関して、質問があります。 なぜこの場合、staff was hiredにならないのでしょうか？ 問題集にはrecommendは使役動詞であるから、ここでは原型=beが使われると説明してあります。 ここでのthatは接続詞と考えていいのでしょうか？ それとも冠詞としてのthatでしょうか？ もし、recommendが使役でbeがそれに伴う原型不定詞だったら、thatは冠詞として用いられているのかな、とも思いますが… 初歩的なことを聞いてすみませんが、こんなくだらない質問に答えてくださる方がいたら、よろしくお願いします!!

高校文法問題集の不定詞の項目に出ていた書き換え問題の解答で わからないところがったので教えてください。 It sems that there were some mistakes in his report. をThereで始めてという問題で There seems to be some mistakes in his report. と解答にあります。 なんとなく音の記憶でそう書いて正解だったのですが、 どうしてseemsに3単元のSがつくのかと訊かれ 答えられませんでした。 There is 構文の中にseemが入ると自動的に単数扱いにあるのですか？ どなたか解説をお願いします。
