"Non of them" は are? is? 英語の教科書でも持っていれば載っていると思うのですが、持っていないので質問。 "Non of them" を主語にした場合、are でしょうか、is でしょうか。 「彼らの中の誰もxxxであるものはいない」というような文章を書きたいのですが。 世の中にある文章を見ると、are を使っている人もいれば is を使っている人も いるので、なるべく教科書的な答えでお願いします (できたら理由か出典なども わかるとありがたいです。もし知っていたら)。 よろしくお願いします。

小ネタなので二つ続けて質問させてください。 １、Her parents are both graduates from Yale. ２、I like them both. という二つの文で、bothが名詞の前と後にそれぞれ来てますが、どうしてなんでしょう。 ・Her parents are graduates both from Yale. ではダメなんですか？ それとこれは別でallの用法についてなんですが、 We all criticized his new book. という文があったとして、このallを 「私たちみんな」とするのか、「私たちはすっかり（しつくした）」とするのか、 その判断の基準はどこにあるんでしょうか。 主語が複数だったら「～みんな」になるんでしょうか。
