2009年早稲田大学政治経済学部の過去問です。 初めて書いた自由英作文なので訂正すべき部分が多いと思いますが・・・ 英語の経験豊富な方、アドバイスをお願いします。m(_ _)m 「スーパーマーケットは無料のビニール袋を廃止すべきである」 という意見に賛成か反対かを書くというものです。 ちなみに１５分で書ききるのが目安なのですが、３０分もかかってしまいました。

自由英作文の添削をお願いします。 題名:高等学校が高校生の化粧を禁止することに賛成するか否か。 I agree with the idea that high schools prohibit their students from making themselves up for two reasons. Firstly, permitting the students' make up leads to disturb the norm of school. It is because that may possible for the students not to obey the school rules to make themselves feel freely. Secondly, the high school students need not to make themselves because they have beautiful skin originally. If they depend on make themselves up in high school days, it would have bad infuluence for their skin. Because of two reasons I mentioned above, I agree the idea that high schools prohibit their students from making themselves up. 私は高等学校が高校生に化粧を禁止することに二つの理由により賛成する。 一つめは、高校生に化粧を認めることは学校の規範を乱すことに繋がりかねないからだ。というのもこれをすることにより彼らが自由な心地になることで学校の規則に従わなくなる可能性があるからだ。 二つめは、高校生は元々美しい肌をしているので化粧をする必要がないからである。もし彼らが高校生の時から化粧に頼ってしまうと、彼らのお肌に悪影響を及ぼすだろう。 以上、先に述べた二つの理由から高等学校が高校生に化粧を禁止することに賛成する。

題：「死刑制度の廃止について」50words -死刑制度に反対- I hope that the death penalty is abolished.(1) This is because a nation should not kill a person, even if it is a nation.(2) In addition, criminals should remain alive because they can expiate the crime.(3) Therefor I agree with abolishing the death penalty.(4) -死刑制度に賛成- I hope that the death penalty isn't abolished.(1) This is because, I seem that the brutal criminals repeat the creme if they remain alive.(2) Moreover, I seem that brutal crimes increase more than now, if the capital punishment system is abolished.(3) Therefore I disagree with abolishing the death penalty.(4) 二つ書いてみました(>_<)! 一つでも良いので改善点など教えてもらえたら幸いです(>_<)

I think so because some eighteen-year-old people are working, therefore they are in charge of society. So, it is reasonable that the age of majority should be reduced--to 18 私の意見では、１８歳の日本人は大人であるべきです。 何故そのように考えたかというと、１８歳で働いている人もおり、彼らは社会的責任を負っています。 だから、成人年齢を１８歳に引き下げるというのは合理的です。 何も調べて書いていないので、レベルは低いですが、試験本番と同じような環境でやってみました。単語数は５０くらいまでしか増やせません。 ですので、大学入試の観点から添削をお願いします。

The first reason is that they represent world peace, so, if you abolish them, I think it means that you abolish world peace. The second reason is that they motivate many athlete. If it were not for the Olympic Games, sports couldn't be like what sports are now. For these reasons, I would like to say that the Olympic Games shouldn't be abolished. 今回はやや辞書を使ってしまいました ２つ目以降の理由がなかなか思いつかず苦労しました こんな理由も良いんじゃないかというのがあったらそれも教えてもらえるとうれしいです

Then,through sports, many people can communicate with people from all over the world. In other words, the Olympics can give you such opportunity. Therefore I would say that the Olympics are very precious.

The use of energy around the clock contributes to global warming seriously. As you know, Global warming is one of the most pressing problems that the world is now facing. But, you may say that to stay open for 24 hours is convenient or even necessary for people who work night shifts. However,I think that global warming is bigger problem than that because these people only change their lifestyles. なるほど・・・英文の論理展開は日本語と違うんですね 見にくい部分は、 It may be right that the Olympics have been exploited for politics by politician. But even if I make allowance for this pity fact, I think the Oltmpics should not be abolished. と書いてあります。 政治的利用がなされたこともあっただろうという旨の文にしたかったのですがちょっと自信がないです。
