こんにちは！ 状況がよく分からないのですが、「日本人の貴方が、友達の英語Nativeに、民主党政権を批判しながら、尖閣問題を説明した後に、その英語Nativeの友達が、上記の英文メールを、貴方に送付してきた。」と言う前提で良いでしょうか？？？ そういう前提で、回答します！ （どういう前提であるかが、翻訳には重要なので。。。） （意訳） ムカつく話だけど、まあ、ああした対応で、良かったんじゃない。 兎に角、大切な事は、日本人は日本人で、「我々は正しい。」と思うことだよ。 まあ、中国人も、そう思ってるんだろうけどさあ。 「尖閣がどっちの国の領土か？」なんて、知らないし、興味もないけど、日本政府は、挑発的な行動を取らなかったよねえ。 ああした対応で、良かったと思うよ。 だって、挑発的な行動を日本政府がとっても、国家にとっての利益にはならなかっただろうしね。 それどころか、非理性的な対応をすれば、中国からの「経済制裁」を受けて、重大な問題になった危険性もあったし、国際社会からの信用も日本は失うことになったろうからね。。。 （蛇足） 「英検１級、TOEIC９７０レベル」の私ごときが、Nativeの英語にコメントするのも、おこがましいとは思いますが、 正直、あまり教養のあるNativeが書いた英語とは思えませんねえ。 文法的に間違っているし、使っている単語の語彙レベルが低いと思います。 何かの参考になれば、幸いです。
