私は、もうすぐ受験をひかえている中学3年生です。 志望校の過去問で分からない問題があり、苦戦しています。（答えがなくて…） It was Mika's birthday, and she wanted (to enjoy) it! の to enjoy と同じ使い方の語句を含む文を選び、 次の4つの中から答えを1つ選ぶという問題なのですが、 (1)I have a lot of time (to play) with children. (2)I am glad (to see) you. (3)He stopped (to read) books in the park. (3)は 彼は公園で本を読むために立ち止まった。 という意味で、不停止の副詞的用法 問題の she wanted (to enjoy) it! 彼女はそれを楽しむことを欲した。 という目的を指す名詞的用法と違います。 (4) 彼女は中国語を学ぶことを始めた。 が正解だと思います。

添削してください。よろしくお願いします。 バイオリンを習い始めて3年になります。全然うまくなっている気がしなくて、やめようかと思ったこともありましたが、最近ようやく上達してきたかもと思えるようになってきました。やめなくてよかったと思います。 It's been about three years since I started practicing the violin. There were some times when I thought I should give it up as I just didn't seem to improve. However, lately I finally feel like my performance may be getting better. I'm glad I didn't quit practicing.

I could tell that you wanted to peason who eats it to enjoy it. 料理コンテンストで審査員が調理者の料理を 評価している最中を抜粋した一文です 恐らくitは料理を指しているのだと思います。 wanted toの後に名詞が来るのは何故でしょうか？ またto enjoyはto不定詞でしょうか？
