英訳を教えてください

私たちが一つの心一つの魂となれますように。 may　our　hearts　and　souls　be　united． で良いのでしょうか？

「神に祈る」というような形式ばった意図でないなら、単純に"I hope...", "I wish..."等を使う方がいいかと思います。 それから、これは一例ですが、あちらの音楽の歌詞で「（親しい２人の）心・体が１つになる」というような意味でまさしく"Two become one"という表現を見た事があります。 「一つの心一つの魂」という表現が単なる「同じ意味の言葉の念押し」だとするならば、heart, soulどちらも「心・精神・魂」というような同じようなニュアンスを含むので、自分ならどちらか１つにします。 以上をふまえて・・・ I hope our souls become one. この方がすっきりして印象的になるのではないでしょうか。 ご参考程度に。

ありがとうございます。 そうですね、一般的だとbecomeoneだと思います。 補足しますと、やや宗教的な意味あいも含めたく そうなると 「なれますように」がmay～という文章になるのかなと思って 質問しました。 参考にさせていただきます。
