http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/main http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/financial 努力の甲斐があって、そうとうスムーズになりましたね。 重箱の底をつつかしていただきます。 最初の “main” は上記のサイトのように “a” にアクセントが来るので、少しだけ アクセントをいれられたら・・・ なお単語 ”financial” が度々でてきますが、これもアクセンは “a”の上にくるので “imagine” の “a” や “hat” の “a” と同じく発音記号は [ae]となり、発音する時に両くちびるを引かなければなりません。質問者さんの“imagine” の “a”と同じように発音されねばなりません。上記のサイトを参照ください。 この [ae] の発音をある程度 tone down 出来ますがもう少しけじめをつけられたら良いのでは・・・ それから “her” の “er” の発音がまだ少しだけ口にこもってきこえます。 しかし現状のままでも日本人としては立派な発音です。

Received Pronunciation(RP)を学べるオーディオブックやmp3などを探しています。 通勤の時間帯に聴くのでオーディオが良いのですが、なかなか見つかりません。 今のところ、youtubeにはReceived Pronunciationを少し教えてくれる投稿がいくつかあったのですが、やはり短く詳細まで語られていません。 日本人講師の本などは興味がなくイギリスの講師が教えてくれるオーディオが理想です。 次のオーディオを見つけたのですが、これはイギリス全土の訛りを記録したもので、やや外国人がイギリス英語の発音を学習するものとは違うようです。 Voices of the UK: Accents and Dialects of English (British Library Sound Archive) またこちらは、役者がイギリス発音を習得するものなのでしょうか。そうすると近い気がするのですが、サンプルがなく聴けていません。 Access Accents Received Pronunciation: An Accent Training Resource for Actors どなたかお勧めのオーディオご存知でしたら教えてください。
