宿泊予約で満室の場合の表現
旅館のフロントでの、英会話表現について伺います。 「あいにくその日は満室です」 I`m afraid we have no room available the day. 「次の機会にまたよろしくお願いします」 Next time please. 我が家は純和風の旅館で、ごくたまにしか、外国人のお客さんは見えませんが、いざという時のために、準備をしておきたいです。 よろしくお願いします。

Hotelclubで「24～48時間以内に回答」で予約したところ、48時間位たった現在、ステータスが下記の様になってます。 正直なところ、意味がよくわからない文章で困っています； これは、「満室だよ～」の意なのでしょうか、それとも「回答ないからちょっと待ってね」？ （もちろんこちらはキャンセルなんぞしてないんですが…） ＜日本語＞ お客様のご要望したご予約に対する処理を終了いたしました。現在そのホテルに対するお客様のご予約はありません。お客様がご予約をキャンセルなさったか、またはご要望の条件でのご予約はできません。 ＜英語＞ We have finished dealing with your requested booking and no booking is being held for you at the Hotel. Either you have requested this booking to be cancelled, or we have advised you that the booking is not available as you had requested it. 出発が明日昼のため、ちょっと焦ってます（笑） 経験者の方、教えて下さい m(_ _)m Hotelclubはよく利用して助かっているのですが、今回は自分の英語力（国語力？）のなさも手伝って苦労してます。

こんばんは。 海外のホテルを予約したく、メールでやりとりしていますが ややこしいメールが来て、細かいニュアンスが分かりません・・。 辞書やパソコンの翻訳で訳してみましたが、理解しずらい 表現があり困ってます。 少々長い分ではありますが、お詳しい方 よろしくお願い致します。 We are able to offer you a double accommodation at $130.00 per day plus tax and consists of a combination sitting room/bedroom with one double bed and one single bed, a bathroom and a kitchenette. All poolside units are sold out for this period, however, we will wait list you and if a poolside unit becomes available the rate will be $150.00 per day plus tax. Please let us know if this is agreeable and at the same time a credit card number with expiration date will insure a firm booking. May we also have the name of your party and flight information.

I'm not sure how much money is left this year,but we'll try to heop you the best we can. という会話では and I'm afraid I の箇所や form and I'll の箇所は単語を繋げて発音しますよね。 これらは音声学では何という用法になるのでしょうか? また、どういう場合にこのような用法が使われるのでしょうか?

英会話の本を読んでいてこんな例文が乗っていました. (ホテルの予約の場面) "Do you have any rooms available for tonight?" "For tonight? OK, hold on please. ……Yes, we do." 1)tonightの前の前置詞はon かat が正しいような気がするのですが, forでいいのでしょうか 2)というかそもそもに前置詞なしで "Do you have any rooms available tonight?" ではだめでしょうか. 3)またこれがtonightに限らず, 例えば明日の晩の予約ということであれば, "Do you have any rooms available for tomorrow night?" と他の時間, 日付でも使える一般的な表現なのでしょうか どなたか回答お願いいたします.

修飾についていくつか質問があります。リスニングをしていて疑問に思ったことです。 (1) We have a gym, located on the fourth floor, opposite the elevators. このopposite the elevatorsはgymを修飾しているのは分かるのですが、位置が離れているからか何か違和感がありました。このような表現は普通なのですか？他にもいろいろ例を示してもらえるとありがたいです。 (2) I'm afraid that the only vehicle available is a full-size van. このavailableですが、なぜか1単語なのに後置修飾されていて、考え込んだりします。これはどうなっているのでしょうか？the only available vehicleでもいいと思いました。 (3)We have a pair of seats available upstairs in the balcony. これもavailableが後置修飾になっています。 またupstairs in the balconyですが、upstairs, in the balcony ともに形容詞句で後者が前者を修飾しているのでしょうか？ よろしくうお願いします。

イタリアのローマで安い宿に泊まろうと、英語の予約ページNet-booking.netで予約しました。予約と同時に自動で送られてくるメールの他に、以下のようなメールが届きました。 Ciao , We have just recevied your booking for a triple room for the night of Jul.15th. If this is correct please confirm your booking and the arrival time in Rome.Thank you! Best Regards. 15日3人で予約を受け付けました。というところまでは分かるのですが、Ｉｆの後が？です。 つたない英語力で読み取るに、 ローマに着く時間が正しいか確認しろって事ですか？？ 申し訳ありませんが、訳し方教えてください。 よろしくお願いします。
