英訳教えて下さい

ニュージーランドの大学に勤務する者です。フランスの方が書かれた英語ということですので、想像力を逞しくして考えました。 卓球台を扱っている（＝その店で購入できる） 業者の住所か、メールアドレスを教えてくれませんか？ もしくは 卓球のラケットを扱っている（＝その店で購入できる） 業者の住所か、メールアドレスを教えてくれませんか？ のいずれかであろうと思います。まずフランス語で卓球のことを tennis de table と言いますので、「ピンポン」に関する道具であることは間違いないでしょう。 さて、次に問題の plate ですが、これは英語ですと「板（または板状の物）」、そして「皿」という意味があります。またフランス語の plat はズバリ「皿」という意味です。「平らな物」という意味もありますが。 すると卓球で「皿」が正しいのか、あるいは「板」なのか？ 実はあやふやな記憶で申し訳ないのですが、卓球で使う丸形のラケットを「ディッシュ」と呼ぶことがあると聞いたことがあります。すると「皿→ラケット」という可能性があるわけで、その一方で「板→テーブル、卓球台」という可能性もあるのかな・・・ と迷ってしまいます。 私の意見としては、おそらく「卓球のラケット」の方だろうと思います。「台」の方であれば table という語を使うであろう、というのがその根拠なのですが、自信を持って言い切るにはなんとも頼りなく、申し訳なく感じます。とりあえず「台」であっても「ラケット」であっても、スポーツ用品店であれば両方とも扱っているだろう、というのが救いですが・・・。可能であれば、相手の方に「ラケットのこと？ それともテーブルのこと？」と確認していただければ幸いです。 不完全な回答で申し訳ありません。御参考になりましたでしょうか？

次の文のうち、「give a running account of it」の部分をどう解釈すればいいのかわかりません。 By the age of six or eight a child can watch a playmate carry out an intricate series of actions and give a running account of it afterward. いろいろ調べて直訳すると、「継続勘定をする」って意味になってしまうんですが、それじゃあ意味がわからないので噛み砕くとこの場合は何が言いたいんでしょうか？ すみませんがどなたか教えてください。

日本語訳のない並び替えの問題で Can (is/me/nearest/post office/tell/the/where/you)? というものがあって、答えは Can you tell me where the nearest post office is?「この辺りの一番近い郵便局はどこか教えてもらえますか？」 ですが、私は Can you tell me where post office is the nearest?だと思いました。 「どこの郵便局が一番近いか教えてもらえますか？」という訳だと思ったからです。 これだといけない理由を教えてください。
