英語でのプレゼンをするにあたって、次の英文が適切かどうかを見ていただきたいです。 トピックは、幼児期の習い事に関してで、見ていただきたい文は、下の2文（”then～in babyhood.”）になります。「幼児期に習い事をする子供の割合はいくつだと思いますか」という英文がいいたいです。 Ok, then let's get startd. First, I give you a handout. please take one of it and pass around. （after giving a handout) Today's discussion topic is about lessons, naraigoto in japanese. ”then, here is a question. Do you know what percentage of children to take lessons in babyhood?” 聴衆は学生が10人ほどなので、I'd like to start my presentation by one question. だと、やや堅苦しいかなと感じ here is a question. としました。また、習い事に対応する英語はlessonで良いでしょうか。 また上の質問とは別に、プレゼン流れに関しても悩んでいます。 この質問の後、グラフを用いての簡単な現状説明、ディスカッションを考えています。ディスカッションの題目として、一つは Do you think children should take lessons in babyhood?を考えているのですが、1時間という設定の中、もう一つほしいと思っています。 どちらかの解答だけでも大変助かります。よろしくお願いします。

大学入試英文解釈の質問です！ a great many of our students might have gone wrong following "common sence",and been much better off if they'd heard about some of the tests of the obvious that turned out to be not so obvious.common senseとは(本文中で夜遅くまで睡眠時間を犠牲にし、勉強した方が成績が上がるという常識)のことです。 この文の文構造、特に後半がよく分からないので解説して頂けませんか？それと、この文中のtestsが何なのかが全くわかりません。のでそれも出来れば教えていただきたいです！ 県立広島大学2015の後期試験のII問目の最初らへんです！

改めて御礼がおそくなりお詫びします。申し訳ありませんでした。 Ｇehard Ｓchroeder's departure from the sence remove a leader who did much to contribute to a deterioraton of the pivotal Ｇerman-Ａmerican relationship の英文ですが、解説のおがげでしっかりわかりました。ありがとうございます。訳してみると「政権からのシュレーダーの引退は、枢要な独米関係の悪化に貢献した指導者を解任した。」 もうひとつ、伺いたいのです。 Because no natural alliance of parties had a decisive majority of votes last month は和訳すると「本質的に連立する政党がないので、先月の大多数の投票は明確な結果をもたらした」となります。変な日本語になってしまったのですが、うまい訳を教えてください・・。 つづりは、打ち間違いがありました。御指摘有難うございます。
