不定詞の完了形は完了時制（完了、経験、継続）を表すことが出来ますが、これは名詞的用法のみ可能なのでしょうか？１つだけI'm sorry to have kept you waiting so longという文を見つけて、これは副詞的用法で継続かな？と思っています。特に形容詞的用法で完了形を使うのかどうか？が知りたいのですが例文を見つけられずにいます。お知恵をください。

"I'm sorry to have kept you waiting." というよく見る例文ですが、 waitingと現在分詞になっている理由は、youとwaitingの関係が"You were waiting."と能動の関係になっているからですよね？ ただ、疑問に思うのですが、「あなたは待たされていた」訳だから、" You were waited,"という受動の関係も成り立ってしまう気がするのです。 すると、途端に、waitingの根拠が失われてしまう気がするのです。 どなたか、ご教示ください。 よろしくお願いいたします。

「an hour」が「a hour」じゃないのは、「アワー」で言葉の初めが母音だからでしょうか？ 「one hour」とはあまり言いませんか？ 2時間は何て言いますか？その時冠詞は必要ですか？ A：I am sorry to keep you waiting for one hour B：I am sorry to have kept you waiting for an hour. 2つの文法の違いは何ですか？ Bは「have+目的語＋原形不定詞」ですか？

参考書を読んでいたら、 "I'm sorry I told a lie." "Never mind." というのがあって、もうひとつ "I'm sorry to have kept you waiting so long." "Don't worry about it." と出てました。 質問(1) どちらも返事の言葉は「気にしないで」という意味だと思うんですけど、それぞれどう違うんですか？ 質問(2) それから、Never mind の方は何で Don't mind と言ってはダメなんですか？

英語の文法問題の質問なのですが、 I'm sorry to ＿ you waiting a while. （a while の辺り、for a long time とかだったかもしれませんが…） の＿の部分には have kept が入るというのが正しい答えだったのですが、have been keeping はどうしてダメなのでしょうか？ 解説に全然詳しい説明がないので分かりませんー。 どうかご教授お願いいたします。

実際の使われ方と辞書って多少違いがあったりしますよね。 そういうのは、中々私レベルでは知らないんです。 待たせてる間はーーという。なんてわざわざ例文の所に 書いてあったりしたので、いけないんだと思っていました。
