えとぉ、分かるところだけでも。 (1)分詞構文に限らずですが、時間的な差異が多少なりともでもあるからと言って必ずしもいつもいつも完了形などを使ってそれを明確に示さなければと言うことでもないように思います。 英文は左から右へ読んでいくわけですが、過去形の列挙でも話の流れから充分に前後関係が容易に判断できるのであれば、わざわざ完了形にしなくてもと思われることはとても多いように思います。 特に、タクシーに乗る"ほんのついさっきに"降り始めたって感覚が強ければ、同じ"過去"というフィールドでの出来事と言う意識が働きやすいようにも思いますので。 (2)はおっしゃる通りで、どちらの意味にもなりうると思います。 文脈というか前後関係に依存するように思います。 (5)に関して、ここでのshoutedは自動詞じゃありません。 himselfが目的語で、hoarseという形容詞が目的格補語になっているSVOCの第五文型になります。 このshoutの使い方はちょっと面白い使い方で、「目的語を形容詞が示す状態に"怒鳴る・大声を出すことによって"する・させる」というようなmakeに大声という要素・要因を足したような感覚でしょうか。 「自分自身を声がかれた状態にさせる」→「声がかれるまで叫ぶ」となります。
