２ですが、 How long did you study English when you went to US? で纏まるかと思いますが。。聞きたいのは渡米した時期ではなくて 英語の勉強の期間ですよね？

英作文の添削をお願いします！ 私は、もうすぐ受験をひかえている中学3年生です。 志望校に毎年出題されている英作文で分からない問題があり、苦戦しています。 「あなたは子供のころ、りんごを食べましたか？」 という日本文を英文にしろという問題なのですが、 Did you eat an apple when you are child? の答え方でいいのでしょうか。 a apple は apples としたほうがいいのか… child は a child としたほうがいいのか迷っています。 受験までもう時間がないので、添削していただけるとすごく助かります。 厳しく添削！をお願いします。 また回答例も教えていただけるとなお嬉しいです！ お手数お掛けしますが宜しくお願いいたします。

One day, I called one of my friends loudly on my cell phone in the train. I did not realize that I was annoying other people on board. then the woman sitting by me said to me that you should hang up your phone and pay more attention to people around you. As I experienced the large earthquake in the Tohoku area the other day, I am very nervous about such disasters and highly motivated to prepare them. Through my experience, you should always prepare some degree of water and prepared food for a disastrous earthquake. It is because even a convenience store is closed just after a large earthquake. Next, if a disastrous earthquake were to occur while I were studying at this university, it would expected that many people are in panic. I know being in panic lead a second disaster.
