初めてお邪魔します。 The parties desire to set forth the terms and conditions pursuant to which Onda will sell products to Tanaka. 上記の文章でpursuant to whichの後に法律の名前や番号が出てこないような時は、一体どういう訳になるのでしょうか。 直訳すると 「オンダがタナカに製品を売ることに準拠して、当事者は契約条件を定めることを希望する。」ということでしょうか。 意味的には 「オンダがタナカに製品を売るにあたって」 ととると、意味が通るような気がするのですが。 どうかよろしくお願いします。

こんにちは。 この文には問題があります。 whichの先行詞がなく、おっしゃるようにpursuant toの後に法律の名前や番号などあるべきものが見当たりません。pursuant toが正しく使われていません。 この文の場合、pursuant toの代わりに onが使われるべきだったと思います。 日本語では、 「当事者は、オンダがタナカに製品を販売する際に、拠所となる契約条件を定めることを望む」というようなことになります。
