前段は Do you know where is a good restaurant? という意図だと思いますが、 Do you know where a good restaurant is? のほうが適切でしょう。

お世話になります。 Did you knowtとDo you know の使い方について教えてください。 たとえば、（いい例が浮かばなくてすみません）オーストラリアには コアラたくさんいるって知ってる？と聞きたいとき、 Do you know there are many koalas in Australia? というのか Did you know there are many koalas in Australia? とするのと どちらがよいのでしょうか。 彼がアメリカに住んでいたって知ってた？といいたいとき、 Do you know he lived in America ? Where do you want to go to school? という文の訳は「どこの学校に行きたいですか」で良いのでしょうか。 ちなみに上の文は、ネイティブの方が言った文です。 私が学生時代に習った文法で考えると、whereで始まる疑問文で、最後にto school と続くのは、おかしいような気がするのですが。 （Where do you want to go? なら勿論意味が分かります。） もし「どこの学校に行きたいですか」なら、たとえば Which school do you want to go? 等なら分かるのですが・・・。 私の文法理解（というか記憶）がおかしいのでしょうか。 それとも文法的にはともかく、ネイティブの人は自然によく使う表現の仕方なのでしょうか。 その場合、 Where do you want to go to a restaurant? 等も使えますか？？ よろしくお願いします。
