What would you take a visitor to your hometown to see? という文なんですけど、これは平常文に直すと You would take a visitor to what of your hometown to see. になりますか？ ちょっと違和感があります。 またこの文は間違えですか？ You would take a visitor to in part of the place of your hometown to see. または You would a visitor to where of your hometown. このWhat would you take～のwhat はどこにかかってどんな働きをしているんでしょうか？ お願いします。

こんにちは。友達から送られてきたメールで質問があります。 "I just wanted to check in to see how you are doing. You haven't written me once since you said you would. It'll be nice to hear from you once in a while!" ☆check inって「連絡をとる」っていう意味ですか？それとも「チェックする」っていう意味なのでしょうか。（日本語でいうチェックというとちょっと違和感がありますが・・・） ☆not～onceというのはneverと同じ「一度も～ない」という意味になるのですか？よく使われる言い方なのでしょうか。 ☆本人でないと本当のところはわからないですけど、この文は怒っているように聞こえますか？たまにはメールしてよ～」っていう感じじゃないかなと（or so I hope）思うのですが、どう謝ろうか考えていて、読んでどう感じるかご意見を聞かせてくださるとありがたいです。

所属しているサークルで、卒業生たちへのはなむけの言葉を英語で伝えるのですが、どうもうまくできないので皆さんのお知恵を頂けると嬉しいです。 内容としては、 『卒業生の皆さん、今までありがとうございました。 私は皆さんの英語がもっと聞きたかったです。 もっとたくさんのことを教わりたかったです。そのことが残念です。 これからも、イキイキとした女性でいてくださいね』 これを下記のようにしてみました。 "Graduates, thank you so far. If you could live anywhere, would it be ●●? 上記の文章がペンパルが来たのですが最初のwouldと次のwouldの訳し方 が正しいかどうか教えていただけますか？ 私の住む地域は蛍みたいなのは見られないんだけどとってもすてきですね。 もしあなた(私)がどこにでも住めるとしたら、●●(現在私が住んでいる田舎町)に 住みたい？ でしょうか？なんとなくニュアンスはわかるのですが文法上での違いがわかり ません。前後の文章がないので意味不明でしたらすみません(＾＾；) ちなみに～したいと言う場合I'd like to～と使いますよね？ このwouldと上記で使われているwouldとはどう違うのでしょうか？
