意味がわかりません
海外の友人からのメールですが、いま起こっている、テロのことや、オリンピックのことがかいてあるのはわかったのですが、意味がわかりません。くらべているのでしょうか？ 英語は苦手なので、このような答えしか浮かびません。どうか教えて下さい。おべがいします。 When i'm not celebrating winning the olympic bid, or dodging terrorist bombs

I am a Type-A personality, very competitive and goal-oriented. I took the hardest classes in school, received two degrees in college, and started working 80-hour weeks at 23 as a consultant—and loved my life. Now I am 36, successful, with a loving family and on track to make partner in the next year or two. My problem? I suddenly find myself waking up and not wanting to do anything. I guess you could call it burnout, but I am not unhappy, just ... lazy. The package came like urgent delivery, that is the reason that came in 6 days, i expected received next week like ordinary delivery, you must know this point when you send the package, i think that i feel a little bit cheated and i will think about take or not the package. I have been pet sitting for a good friend for several years now when she is out of town. I love her pets, and the extra money is always welcome. In the past year or so, I have become more particular about housekeeping in my own home.
