これはどう訳しますか
No one could foresee the coming of... In the multilayers of paralyzed christened lies 誰もがこのような事態が訪れるのを予測できなかった・・・ 繰り返されることで麻痺した洗礼された嘘の中で という感じでしょうか？

以下のとおりお答えします。 ＞No one could foresee the coming of... ＞In the multilayers of paralyzed christened lies ＞誰もがこのような事態が訪れるのを予測できなかった・・・ ＞繰り返されることで麻痺した洗礼された嘘の中で ＞という感じでしょうか？ ⇒はい、そういう感じでしょう。（見事なお訳ですね。） ただ、補足することがあるとすれば、couldに関わることです。お示しの文脈だけでは、断定はできませんが、この動詞couldは（直説法過去でなく）が仮定法過去である可能性も否定できませんよね。 もしそうだとすれば、つぎのような解釈もあり得ることになります。couldを仮定法過去と解釈する場合、In ～を If 条件節の代用と見ることが可能ですので、訳は、 「誰もが…のような事態が訪れるとは予測もできないことだろう まして嘘が神聖化され積み重ねられた状況にあってみれば」 となります。

multilayersって「多層」ですよね。 paralizedは「麻痺」よりはむしろ「狂って正気を失ってしまった」 「すっかり正気を失ってしまった聖なる嘘が何層にも上塗りされるような状況下で」 の方がしっくり来るかな、と。
