並び替えで困っています。
英語の並び替えの問題で困っています。誰か教えてください。お願いします。 (1)私たちの座ることのできる場所はありませんでした。 （ sit / was / place / we / where / there / no / could ） (2)間違いを犯さない人など世の中にはいない。 （ but / commits / errors / in / is / no / one / the / there / world ）

関係詞の問題です。 1.There was no place where we could sit. 否定の形容詞noが先行詞にかかり、文を否定文にしています。 2.There is no one in the world but commits errors. 先行詞はno one. 否定語を先行詞とする関係詞butの節の中は 文の意味が否定となります。

there was no one that didn't think he was guilty. 先行詞はno oneでno oneは関係詞節で主語の働きをしているので これを二つの文章に分けると there was no one (誰もいなかった) no one didn't think he was guilty. (彼が有罪だと思わない人はいなかった) これを合体させて元に文章にすると no one didn't think he was guilty.で先行詞のno oneは「彼を有罪だと思っている人」を表しているのに there was no one.で「彼を有罪だと思っている人はいなかった」となりませんか？ これはフォレストという文法書の関係詞のところに書かれている例文なのですが そこの訳では there was no one that didn't think he was guilty.は 「彼が有罪だと思わなかった人は誰もいなかった」 となっています。 私の考え方のどこが間違っているのでしょうか？
